A: Most likely your dog is playing with a kitten. The difference between a kitten and an adult cat is that kittens are smaller, have soft fur that doesn’t get in the way of play, and aren’t very good at jumping or climbing yet. In addition to these physical characteristics, kittens also have different vocalizations from adults cats – especially when they’re happy or scared. Older cats will often hiss and lash out if they feel threatened; young kittens don’t do this kind of behavior (although sometimes you can hear them cry loudly). This makes it difficult to tell whether your puppy or dog is playing with a kitten – but despite their differences in size and appearance, researchers usually classify both as one species (Felis domesticus).
Q: Is my dog aggressive?
