I’m not sure how to answer that so I’ll just say this. If you get the kitten from a reputable breeder, then it shouldn’t be too hard to wean him or her off of mother’s milk. You can use baby food or formula in its place and slowly work your way up to solid foods over time. It shouldn’t take long at all though if you’ve chosen a healthy kitten with good breeding parents!

The best way to know when your cat is eating well would be for them to show signs of being full (a puffed out tummy). If they are still hungry after several hours, make them eat more often.
