How Much Should 12 Week Old Kitten Eat?

12 Week Old Kittens are allowed to eat 6 oz. of canned kitten food per day. If they are bigger, you can feed them 8 ounces per day until the age of 12 weeks, when they will be able to eat 4 ounces per day for a few days then switch to 3/4 cup until 16 weeks old. After that time, kittens should be eating 1 1/2 cups dry cat food daily by themselves or 2 cups whole prey diet wet foods daily unless otherwise directed by your veterinarian.
