How Much Should A 8 Week Old Kitten Weight?

The vet is going to be the best person to answer that question. I am not a doctor, but here’s what you can do:

Give him a bath every 2-3 days with an unscented shampoo. You can use baby shampoo or your regular dog shampoo – whichever works for you! Just rub it all over him and give it a good rinse off after rinsing out his eyes.

Also, keep giving him warm water baths twice a day. His ears should also be cleaned once or twice per week as well as his feet and nails trimmed about every other day (depending on how dirty they get from rolling around). Even though he isn’t pooping yet, start checking for signs of constipation like stools small in size and hard to pass eventually becoming larger and softer/looser. If these become more frequent than normal (2-3 times per week), make sure you schedule another visit with the vet ASAP! A cat who has been sick will often go through periods where he doesn’t want anything to do with eating or drinking because of pain from diarrhea or vomiting; this is how you know he has some sort of illness such as an infection which needs treatment immediately if at all possible. That is why we recommend having your kitten checked out by your veterinarian right away when bringing one home regardless of the fact that it is only 8 weeks old…just so there are no surprises down the road! 🙂 Good luck!! 😀
