The eyes of a kitten are not fully developed until they reach 15 weeks of age. By the time your pet is 4 to 6 months old it should be able to see well enough to play and explore safely on his own. But if he has trouble seeing, or seems confused about what is happening around him, you need to pay close attention. You may want to consult with an eye doctor before assuming that all will be okay in the end even though your cat may seem fine now (and you needn’t worry right away).
