How To Tell If A Kitten Is Having A Seizure?

If you see your kitten seizuring (seizure), get it to a veterinarian’s office immediately. If the seizure lasts for more than 10 minutes, call an ambulance. The vet will need to be aware of any other symptoms such as breathing problems, vomiting or diarrhea before starting treatment. Seizures are most likely caused by head trauma or brain swelling from infection. Treatment is aimed at stopping the seizures after they have started and helping the kitten recover without permanent damage done to its brain tissue.
