It doesn’t matter how long you have had your kitten, or if it is a six week old kitten. If your kitten has a fever of 104° F or higher, he will need medical attention immediately. For cats that are not sick at the time they are examined, there are several methods for taking their temperature without having to hold them down and take an actual reading with a thermometer.
