A kitten is really a baby cat at birth. The only thing that changes is the fur, which becomes longer and moults more often as it grows older. Although cats can grow up to eight or 10 years old, they are generally considered adults after six months of age. After this point, your pet will be able to leave its mother’s care and go live with its own family members without fear of being attacked by other animals in the future. Once this happens, it’ll also begin using the litter box on its own – so you don’t have to clean it any more!
