The question of when to start feeding a kitten adult food often comes up. While kittens are very susceptible to many diseases, most experts agree that it is perfectly safe to feed your kitten an adult diet from around 6 months of age onwards.
How much should I feed my kitten?
As with any pet, the amount you give your cat means you need to be mindful of their individual nutritional requirements. If they are growing rapidly or have special needs then this will be taken into account by the vet or nutritionist that checks them over for free at our vets in Gillingham SE8 7NX. They may recommend more milk but otherwise there’s no ‘one size fits all’ rule about how much your cat should eat so everyone eats what works best for them… really!
